Steve Connolly has been in the pumpkin business for 26 years, with a focus on growing the largest pumpkins in the area. Well Mr. Connolly has gotten his wish and has the biggest pumpkin this year.  

This years record setting pumpkin is 2,075.5 pounds, Connolly’s giant pumpkin is the largest in North America for 2016 and the second largest in the world, reports The Patriot Ledger. 

“I’m still on cloud nine right now,” Connolly told the Ledger. “It still hasn’t settled in yet.”

The massive pumpkin will be on display at the Topsfield Fair through Sunday.
