This week we’re talking about winter, and making sure you know how the seasonal change affects the health of your houseplants.

In the winter months, plants go dormant. This means you’ll see less active growth and need to water way less. But what are the main things to look out for during the winter season?

Heat! Make sure your plants aren’t too close to the radiator, or the windows! The radiator gives off a dry heat, that your plants will not like. Same with the windows, the glass will become cold, or drafty, and your plants will get cold. Feel the leaves! If the leaves of your plant feel cool, your plant is too cold!
